Hi, I'm Vincent Greco, an artist living in the Hudson Valley.

I create handbuilt ceramic sculptures that explore the space between the real and the imagined. I'm especially inspired by the wildlife that inhabits the surrounding lands. Much of my work draws from these natural forms, while also reaching toward the mythical and surreal — creatures that might exist somewhere just out of sight.

Before working with clay, I spent years whittling wood — a practice that taught me patience, form, and the value of creating with my hands. I was drawn to clay in the winter of 2025, craving a more responsive, malleable material that could shift and evolve in real time. Clay offered a new kind of dialogue — one that felt both grounding and full of possibility.

Each piece I make lives between function, decoration, and concept — designed to be touched, seen, and wondered about. With every sculpture, I push myself to try something new: experimenting with form and technique, letting the material guide the way. Following firing, each piece is further animated with either a glaze or a cold finish.

No two pieces are ever the same. Each one is a quiet reflection of curiosity, care, and the strange, beautiful world we’re part of — both seen and unseen.

Thank you for being here, and for supporting the practice of intentional making.
